The Jackman - Moose River Fire Department is a dual
municipality fire department owned jointly by the Towns of Jackman and Moose River.
JMRFD provides fire protection and accident rescue services for a large
region that includes the Towns of Jackman and Moose
River, Dennistown Plantation, and numerous unorganized
townships within Somerset
County.
JMRFD’s coverage area is over 700 square miles.
