JMRFD's fleet of Emergency Vehicles in 2001 -- L to R: 1997 E-One Pumper (Engine 4); 1970 Kaiser Jeep Tanker/Brush Truck (Tanker); 1973 Bean Pumper (Engine 2 disposed of in 2003); 1990 KMC Pumper/Tanker (Engine 3); 1984 Chevrolet Rescue (Rescue 1 disposed of in 2002)

Since 2001 we have added the following:  1993 Ford E350 Rescue (Rescue 2) in 2002; 1975 Ward LaFrance Pumper (Engine 5) added in 2008; and 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 four-door, 4wd pickup (Utility 1) added in 2008.

The Jackman - Moose River Fire Department is a dual municipality fire department owned jointly by the Towns of Jackman and Moose River.
JMRFD provides fire protection and accident rescue services for a large region that includes the Towns of Jackman and
Moose River, Dennistown Plantation, and numerous unorganized townships within Somerset County.
