The Jackman Region Community Association was incorporated on

January 3, 2002.

The Jackman Region Community Association Activities and Organizations include the following:

Jackman Youth Baseball (June)

Jackman Youth Tennis (July)

Jackman Youth Basketball (July & January/February)

Jackman Youth Flag Football (August)

Jackman Youth Soccer (August)

Jackman Adult Co-ed Softball (July/August)

Moose River Valley Community Choir

Forest Hills Parent Teacher Committee

Jackman Preschool – a licensed nursery school

Jackman Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps

Annual Christmas Festival of Trees (December)

The purpose of the Jackman Region Community Association is to operate facilities and conduct recreation and community programs for the benefit of the residents of the Jackman Region. The Jackman Region includes the Towns of Jackman & Moose River, Dennistown Plantation, and the unorganized territories in the Jackman region.

Membership in the Association is free and consists of two categories:

(1) General Members – any resident of the Jackman Region who is at least 18 years of age and who is a registered voter in the Jackman Region

(2) Supporting Members – individuals who do not meet the qualifications of General Members but who wish to support the activities of the Jackman Region Community Association.
