Dr. Dubois gives "Chummy" a
check-up in the pilot's building at Newton Field

Dr. J. Richard Dubois, D.V.M., owner
of both the Dexter Veterinary Clinic in Dexter, Maine, and the Greenville
Veterinary Clinic in Greenville, Maine, comes to Jackman once a month for
routine pet care.
If the weather is good and Dr. Dubois does not have to make stops along the
way to pick up supplies, Dr. Dubois flys to Jackman in his private plane,
hence the nickname The Flying Vet.
Dr. Dubois provides his vet service in Jackman at the pilot's building at
Newton Field on the third Saturday of each month (excluding December), from
9am to noon.
