JACKMAN
REVOLVING LOAN FUND
For
BUSINESSES & LANDLORDS
The Jackman Revolving Loan Fund was
developed and designed as a direct spin-off of a Community Development
Block Grant. The purpose of the fund is to promote the community welfare of
Jackman by helping to finance projects which maximize private sector
investment, offer benefit to low and moderate income people, and encourage
the growth of tourism as an industry in the area.
The application is straightforward
and requires basic information from the borrower including:
* completion of a commercial loan
application;
* basic business plan for the
proposed venture;
* evidence of approval for any
required permits;
* and bids
for equipment purchases and capital improvements.
Maximum loan amounts are $8,000 per
business and $3,000 per rental unit.
Loans are for 7 years at a current
interest rate of 6%.
